Our warmest greetings from the United Professionals for English and Communication (UPEC)!
This Christmas could possibly be one of the toughest ones to celebrate as many of us have been afflicted by the pandemic. It has been almost two years, and while some of us are slowly getting back on our feet, there are still many being left behind.
Our English club, a professional organization of students from different backgrounds who want to enhance their English and communication skills is seeking your help this holiday season; our club is affiliated with and supervised by the American Institute for English Proficiency (AIEPRO).
As part of its corporate social responsibility, AIEPRO has committed not only in the education and empowerment of its students, but to actively engage them in community service as well. Therefore, through its student organization, we are launching the UPEC-AIEP Christmas Donation Drive to help those in need.
Our Christmas Donation Drive aims to raise funds to purchase the necessities of the children with cancer at Bahay Aruga, an institution in Manila that houses young patients from age 18 and below.
With your support, we hope to raise enough funds by December 16 so we can provide our beneficiaries Christmas gifts such as essential kits, food supplies, toys, and the like. Aside from Bahay Aruga, we will also donate charity goods to some families of its nearby barangay, and we have already coordinated with the leaders there.
We are knocking on the doors of your kind hearts this holiday season, and with your immeasurable generosity, our collaborative efforts will go a long way for the young cancer patients at Bahay Aruga. Regardless of the amount, your contribution will surely make a difference. Merry Christmas and happy holidays.
You can send your contribution thru the following accounts to our club treasurer:
Mary Jane Martinez (BDO): 0041-7035-9545
Mary Jane Martinez (GCash): 0917-776-0623
